Temperature profile modelling

The transit environment is a key parameter to qualify temperature controlled solutions. Only thermo-packaging which is designed by taking into consideration real external temperatures and their exposure duration to those temperatures (temperature profile) can properly protect products from thermal shocks and temperature fluctuations.

Building a temperature profile is based on a common sense approach and on the observation that transit conditions can noticeably differ from weather data.

Kalibox thermal mapping experience

Over the years, Kalibox has measured real transit conditions on the European express networks. An extensive climatic database for over 2 000 shipments has been collected covering all seasons.

This database helps us to select packaging adapted to the different shipping scenarios whatever the season may be.
